The project on strengthening the resilience of Czech, Polish, and Slovak societies kicks off

The EAST Center is part of the project „Strengthening the Resilience of Czech, Slovak, and Polish Societies Prior to the 2024 European Parliament Elections“ which is supported by the European Union. It is a joint effort of five partners from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland: the Association for International Affairs (AMO, Czech Republic); Charles University (Czech Republic); the Student Section of the International Political Science Institute of Masaryk University (IIPS, Czech Republic); the ADAPT Institute (Slovakia); and the EAST Center (Poland).

The project focuses on improving social resilience to internal and external information threats and strengthening the Czech, Slovak, and Polish information space. To raise awareness of the threat posed by disinformation, the project team will organize workshops at universities and public debates, publish commentaries in the media, hold specialized workshops for representatives of civil society and the media, and produce a final report with recommendations for public officials.
