Media Management and IT Forum in Minsk

On October 25-27 EAST Center co-organizes the largest international media conference in Belarus, Media Management and IT Forum, or MMIT Forum. The Media Management and IT Forum is a three-day gathering of more than 100 media and NGO representatives, data activists and media experts from Eastern Partnership countries and beyond to discuss present-time challenges, the state of Belarusian and EaP media and media projects, and to share their expertise in empowering media and local communities.

MMIT Forum is structured around five sections which are Media Management, Media Monetization, Investigative Journalism, IT Tools and Open Source Investigations, and Media Content. Renowned media practitioners from more than 10 countries will speak at panel discussions and give their workshops.

MMIT Forum is organized in cooperation with Johannes Rau International Centre for Education and Exchange (IBB Minsk), Deutsche Welle Akademie and Practical Competences Studio, in partnership with the Belarusian Association of Journalists. It is supported by the Kingdom of Netherlands, European Union, British Embassy in Minsk, Secretariat of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum and UNDP in Belarus.
