EAST research fellow Veranika Laputska drafted a report on civil society trends in Belarus (2016 – 2017). The report was executed for the Bertelsmann Foundation (Gütersloh, Germany) and the Institute of Public Affairs (Warsaw, Poland) in cooperation with Łukasz Wenerski from the Institute of Public Affairs.
The report includes statistics on registration of NGOs in Belarus prepared by the Center for Legal Transformation (Belarus) and the Assembly of Belarusian NGOs as well as data and legal information collected by the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law in its Civic Freedom Monitor project.
