The Conference Belarusian Studies in the 21st Century took place on 23-24 March 2016 in London. This event gathered researchers in the field of Belarusian studies from Belarus, United Kingdom, United States, Canada and elsewhere.
Veranika Laputska presented her research Nazi war criminals in Belarusian Internet mass-media discourse in the light of Russian-Ukrainian conflict: a case study of Vladimir Katriuk. As part of the event, Professor Andrew Wilson at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College gave an Annual London Lecture on Belarusian Studies “Explaining Lukashenka’s Survival”.
