On May 8-9 EAST research fellow Andrei Yeliseyeu was part of the seminar EU external borders in the middle of Europe organized by the Swiss NGO Gesellschaft zur Förderung der grenzüberschreitenden Zusammenarbeit (GFGZ). Within the two-day event a meeting of the Task Force External Borders (TFEB) of the Association of European Border Regions was also held.
The seminar included presentations by the professionals in EU and non-EU border regions, discussions and meeting with local authorities at the Swiss-German borderland (Jestennen- Lottstetten, Bussingen), as well as a small excursion within the Neuhausen am Rheinfall area.
